Second hand Polaroid SX-70 Land Original Instant camera for sale
Used The original and first instant SLR was this Polaroid SX-70 Land camera. Launched in 1972, it takes SX-70 film which has internal batteries to power the exposure and print eject. There is no tripod mount but Polaroid made an adaptor Polaroid tripod mounting plate 111 and autoexposure with a +/- compensation wheel. It folds up to measure 181mmx106mmx45mm.
The lens is a 116 mm f/8-f/22 4-element glass optics with a close focus of around 0.3m. It's manual focus and there's a split screen focussing aid.
The camera has a socket across the top to take the 10x flashbar or dedicated electronic flash. And there's a two pin socket to the side of the shutter release to connect a cable release or self timer.
Condition:
A film has been inserted to check camera functions. Exposure is working correctly, print eject is good, rollers are clean, flash connection works, timer / cable release socket works, It folds up ok and focusing is good. Overall a very clean model for its age.
